Flight, train, and bus schedules rarely match hotel check-in times. If you arrive in Yerevan in the morning but your room is only available later, the best option depends on where you are staying, how long you need storage, and how quickly you want to start exploring.

1. Ask your hotel or host first

Many hotels can keep luggage before check-in, and some apartment hosts may be able to arrange an earlier bag drop. Contact your accommodation before arrival and confirm three details: whether storage is available, the earliest drop-off time, and whether someone must meet you in person.

This is usually the simplest choice when you plan to return to the same area later. It may be less convenient if your accommodation is far from your arrival point or if the host cannot meet you early.

2. Compare a dedicated luggage storage option

A dedicated storage point can be useful when you want a predictable self-service process or do not want to travel to your accommodation twice. Before leaving a bag, check the opening hours, access method, locker size, total price, late-return conditions, and how support works if you need help.

Drop & Go is preparing for launch

Drop & Go is being developed as a self-service luggage locker option in Yerevan, designed for 24/7 availability with personal QR and PIN access. It is not open yet. The confirmed first address, opening date, locker dimensions, and prices will be published on this website and our social pages before launch.

3. Choose storage around your actual route

The nearest option on a map is not always the most useful one. Think about the whole day: where you arrive, what you want to visit, where you will check in, and how you will collect your luggage. A location that avoids a long return journey can save more time than one that is only slightly closer at the start.

4. Keep essential items with you

Regardless of where you store your suitcase, keep passports, payment cards, medication, keys, electronics, and other valuables in a small personal bag. Take a quick photo of your luggage and any storage confirmation so that the details remain easy to find.

A quick checklist before leaving your bag

  • Confirm the collection deadline and any late fee.
  • Check that the locker or storage space fits your luggage.
  • Keep your QR code, PIN, receipt, or collection ticket accessible.
  • Save the address and allow enough time to return before departure.
  • Do not leave documents, cash, medicine, or fragile valuables inside.

Make the waiting hours part of your trip

Once your luggage is safely stored, the gap before check-in becomes usable travel time. Plan a relaxed meal, a walk, or one nearby attraction rather than trying to cross the whole city. Keeping the first few hours simple also leaves room for flight delays and transport changes.
